About Us
Boyd's Cycles began in 1913 and is probably the oldest family business in Keady. Ivan Meakin inherited the business from his grandfather, Johnston Boyd.
Boyd's Cycles specialises in repairs, which are fast becoming a rareity, and sells an excellent selection of bicycles for all ages, as well as helmets, lights and accessories.
The interior of Boyd's Cycles tells the tale of the shop's reincarnations down the years in a series of old photographys. Outside the mural of the penny farthing on the gable wall reflects its early beginnings.
